Handle searches remain private to your team. We only store what you submit and you can delete it at any time.
No silent registrar calls
We never ping registrars or social networks until you explicitly request an action, so availability checks stay off the radar.
Purpose-driven analytics
Product analytics are limited to improving HandleHunter and can be disabled via in-app controls or a quick email to our team.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to deliver HandleHunter, communicate updates, and protect the platform.
- Waitlist and account details
When you join the waitlist or create an account, we record your name, email address, company, and any optional context you share.
- Handle searches and preferences
Submitted brand names, selected domains, and social handles are stored so you can revisit results and collaborate with teammates.
- Usage analytics
We capture high-level product analytics (pages visited, feature use, device type) through privacy-conscious tools to keep the experience smooth.
- Support interactions
If you contact us, we retain messages and related metadata so we can respond, troubleshoot issues, and improve future support.
How we use information
Collected data is used to power availability checks, keep you informed, and protect HandleHunter from abuse.
- Deliver core features
We surface availability results, generate exports, and personalize your workspace based on submitted searches and saved projects.
- Send updates you opt into
We email product news, waitlist invites, and actionable alerts only when you have opted in—unsubscribe links are included in every message.
- Maintain platform reliability
Usage patterns and technical telemetry help us detect fraud, monitor uptime, and troubleshoot performance issues quickly.
- Improve HandleHunter
Aggregated analytics guide roadmap decisions and help us understand which features deliver the most value.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your data. Limited sharing happens only with partners who help us operate HandleHunter or when required by law.

Trusted infrastructure partners (hosting, email delivery, analytics) process data solely on our instructions and under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Collaboration features
If you invite teammates or clients, information you choose to share with them becomes visible to those individuals inside HandleHunter.

Data retention & deletion
We keep data only for as long as it provides value to you or supports legitimate business needs.
- Workspace content
Search history, saved handles, and notes remain available until you delete them or request account removal.
- Waitlist records
If you do not activate an account, we retain your waitlist submission for up to 18 months to notify you about availability or product updates.
- Aggregated analytics
We may maintain aggregated, de-identified analytics for product planning and reporting without tying data back to individual users.
Your controls & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Regardless of jurisdiction, we honor the following for every user.
Access & export
Request a copy of the data associated with your workspace or waitlist entry by emailing privacy@handlehunter.app.
Rectify
Update account information directly in-app or reach out to us to correct anything that looks inaccurate.
Erase
Ask us to delete your workspace, waitlist entry, or specific searches. We will confirm once removal is complete.
Opt out of analytics
Disable optional analytics in your settings or contact us and we will turn them off for your workspace.
Protecting your data
HandleHunter runs on hardened infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to essential team members, secured with multi-factor authentication, and regularly reviewed. We conduct routine backups and monitor for unusual activity to keep your workspace secure.
If we ever identify a security incident that affects your data, we will notify you promptly with details, actions taken, and steps you can follow to stay protected.
